Swell to see ya! My name is Callan Roberts (he/him) and I am an actor and writer here in Chicago, IL. I was born and raised in the swell plains of Omaha, Nebraska and after watching the Bugs Bunny special where he goes to Hollywood, I wanted to be an actor! I began working in professional and community theater shows around town when I was six and immediately fell in love with telling stories! As such, I’ve made it my life’s mission :)

After my adventures in high school, I moved to Chicago, where I graduated with my BA in Musical Theatre at Columbia College Chicago in 2022. After four semesters of crawling on floors while being different colors, writing scripts, singing and dancing my heart out, I was fortunate enough to get working! You may recognize me from Big River and Young Frankenstein at The Mercury Theater Chicago, So… That Was Illegal… with Streamline Theatre, or Plaid Tidings from my time at Timberlake Playhouse.

Right now, I’m currently working on producing my own web series called The Adventures of Thunderbolt and Sparky. It’s a call back to the Silver Age of comics and will be coming to a small screen near you soon! I also co-founded Streamline Theatre with Kelan M. Offstage, you’ll find me re-watching the Dick Van Dyke Show, reading mystery books and old comics, and geocaching… yes, it makes me feel like Indiana Jones.
